We want your experience to be great with us. Here are answers to some frequently asked questions that will be helpful to know prior to coming to the event.

Q: Is there a charge for this event?

A: The Taste of Pleasant Grove is a FREE event and open to the community. Just bring your family and friends and have a great time!

Q: How do I get to Crawford Park?

A: Crawford Park is located at 8700 Elam Rd., Dallas, TX 75217. It is approximately a 15 minute drive from downtown Dallas.

Q: Is there VIP seating at the concert?

A: The concert will take place in an open field in the park. No seating is reserved. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs. Please be mindful of the person behind you and their line of sight.

Q: How much cash should I bring?

A: We’re trying to keep the Taste of Pleasant Grove as inexpensive as possible. Although admission to the event is free, we encourage you to bring cash to support area food and merchandise vendors. You can also purchase tickets for the play area at $1 per ticket. All day play wrist bands can be purchased for $10. Also, for your convenience, we have provided additional parking in a lot across from the Prairie Creek side of the park for only $5 all day (234 N. Seagoville Rd., Dallas, TX 75217).

Q: Can I bring an ice cooler to the event?

A: Sorry, no coolers allowed. You can have ice chests and coolers in your vehicle, but you CANNOT bring them onto event grounds. This is mandated by security personnel.

Q: Is alcohol permitted at the event?

A: NO. The Taste of Pleasant Grove is an alcohol-free event. This policy is strictly enforced.

Q: What time can I come to the event?

A: The gates open at 8:00am for general admittance. The event is over at 8:00pm, following the Havana NRG concert.

Q: What is the deal with parking at Crawford Park?

A: Parking along the streets of Crawford Park is free of charge. Some parking spaces will be reserved for media and vendor parking. For your convenience, we have provided additional parking in a lot across from the Prairie Creek side of the park for only $5 all day (234 N. Seagoville Rd., Dallas, TX 75217).

Q: Will there be age-appropriate activities for everyone in my family?

A: Yes. The Taste of Pleasant Grove is a family-friendly event with activities for every age. Check out the play area and event features for details.

Q: Can I bring a tent? What about an umbrella?

A: You are more than welcome to bring tents and umbrellas to the event. We have a designated are for people to place tents. However, no tents are permitted in the concert area.

Q: What about restrooms?

A: Portable restrooms will be available, as well as hand washing stations.

Q: Can we bring our pets?

A: NO pets allowed at the Taste of Pleasant Grove; ONLY for people with medical handicaps who must have a service pet with them.

Q: Are backpacks and handbags permitted?

A: You may bring backpacks/purses/handbags into the event, however, our security team can search your bags for any reason.

Q: Is that a police officer over there?

A: Safety is something we take very seriously. There will be uniformed and undercover security personnel walking event grounds. Any person or situation that arise that may pose a risk to attendees at the event are taken very seriously.

Q: What if it rains?

A: Texas weather is unpredictable! The show will go on as scheduled, unless there is lightning or heavy winds in the area. Our forecasts show a sunny day.

Q: Who is the guy with the camera?

A: The Taste of Pleasant Grove is a very active event. You can bring your camera and capture the special moments you experience; however, anyone entering the property understands that they can be photographed or video taped at any time.
